Accessorizing in Northeast Ohio

If your summer has been anything like mine, then you’re knee deep in Wedding Season!! While I am a self-described “shopaholic” you may be surprised to know that I don’t usually buy a new outfit for each wedding. In fact, I frequently shop my own closet, and put a new twist on things I’ve worn before. How do I do this? Why, accessories of course!!!

Lucky for us, Northeast Ohio offers a number of locally-owned businesses that offer a wide selection of accessories to punch up any outfit!

For this post, I focused on my favorite Ohio City boutique, R/S Cleveland, and my newest discovery in Tremont, Miranda’s Vintage Bridal. Both these stores are exceptionally curated and offer a variety of affordable accessory options, typically well under $100. In addition, both stores are owned by absolutely delightful young entrepreneurs, who are always happy to take the time to help their clients.

Jewelry is the easiest way to change the look of an outfit. Sometimes a delicate piece is enough to do the trick:

If you’re looking for something slightly more dramatic, an unusual pair of earrings or a colorful vintage clutch + necklace combo can really change up the look of your outfit:

If night time glamour is more your look, Miranda’s Vintage Bridal in Tremont carries a number of sparkly options that will bring instant glamour to any outfit:

If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, I highly recommend a charming floral headband, courtesy of Paprika Vintage and R/S Cleveland.

An upcoming wedding doesn’t have to mean a new outfit, nor does it have to mean a lot of stress. The right accessories will help you nail the look you’re seeking to achieve. So have fun with your own closet, and shop local!
