Cleveland: A Start-Up Story

Ohio, Cleveland, wind driven power generator, downtown skyline, Key Tower,

We’ll start by telling you a little bit about ourselves, we’re Quo, a Cleveland-based apartment search concierge service. While originally from Cleveland, we haven’t always lived here and our co-founders actually met while living in New York City. However, the choice to start Quo in Cleveland was an easy one, tied to many of the changes we’re seeing in Cleveland today.

Cleveland at sunset

Cleveland, like many great cities, is seeing its sleepy downtown and forgotten neighborhoods blossom into vibrant cultural, social, and artistic hubs.

Neighborhood Revitalization

Cleveland, like many great cities, is seeing its sleepy downtown and forgotten neighborhoods blossom into vibrant cultural, social, and artistic hubs. Historic districts and loft buildings are being transformed before our eyes, creating a tapestry of unique micro-neighborhoods with their own architecture and charm.  This is what separates Cleveland from other up-and-comers, the fusion of a rich history with an exciting future, even our supermarkets are historic.

Our mantra of #NeighborhoodsMatter is playing out before our eyes in downtown, Ohio City, Tremont, Coventry, and many other neighborhoods — Clevelanders are aligning their housing decisions with their social lives and hobbies, close to the businesses and friends they love being around. Young people are surging to these areas in record numbers, bringing with them the discretionary dollars that attract great restaurants and hangouts.
